The Silverdaze Team enjoyed their annual conference at the Surrey Downs Golf Club, set in the rolling hills of the North Downs in the pretty village of Kingswood.

Despite the distraction of spectacular views, the team settled down to an action packed day filled with energisers and group discussions to debate various topics and to pool their ideas.

A guest appearance was made by Judith Crowe, author of The Jeweller's Directory of Gemstones. Judith, both a gem dealer and jewellery maker, ran an informative workshop entitled: The Wonder of Stones. Silverdazers were supplied with essential gemmological and practical information and encouraged to imagine distinctive jewellery designs that celebrate the qualities of our stones. This inspirational talk answered many of the questions that we get asked by our customers.

Judith joined us in the luxurious clubhouse restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch prepared by the club's award winning chef. The relaxed atmosphere allowed time for everyone to reflect on all the things they had learnt before reconvening again for the Silverdazers to share their expertise on how to make the best success of their businesses.

Sandra, who later won the "Silverdazer of the Year Award" delivered a talk on "How I doubled my turnover in a year."

Further commendations were awarded at the end of the day before the team posed for their group photo by the lakeside.
